I’m annoyed at the USA wanting to stop safe abortion services. I don’t want to appear as if I’m supporting abortion, but you can’t just stop it anyhow. There are instances when lives have depended on it, and millions of women have gotten reprieve in the United States and other countries around the world due to safe abortion services. It is, therefore, not right to stop it. Republicans have been trying to “defund” Planned Parenthood for years. The current plan to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act would bring that goal to fruition.

I’m annoyed at the skewed debates involving abortion

Whenever you hear the proponents of stopping abortion talking, I’m greatly disturbed that their minds are fixes on just one thing and one thing alone – abortion is murder. But this is a skewed way of thinking. What if the safe abortion services was stopped and both the mother and the child died? What do you do in instances of rape, where the child was completely unplanned for, the pregnancy endangers the life of the mother and the raped girl has no means of bringing up the kid? Would you still bring up the mantra of “abortion is murder?” I’m annoyed at everyone who has such a simplistic thinking about such an important matter.

I’m annoyed at the US stopping foreign aid to NGOs that provide abortion services

It hurts me that millions of women are going to die around the world because Trump and his administration have stopped funding to organizations that support or offer abortion services. Rape victims are going to die in the slums of Nairobi, Kenya, because they can’t secure safe abortion services. They will turn to quacks that will make the process more painful and very dangerous. My heart goes out to all the young girls defiled in South America, how now, thanks to Trump, are now forced to risks their lives by proceeding with the unplanned and unwanted pregnancies, simply because there won’t be safe abortion services available.
